AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida recognizes Bill Finfrock as Volunteer of the Month for August. For Bill Finfrock, agreeing to serve on the AdventHealth Cancer Institute board was an easy decision. Bill’s dedication to raising support and goodwill for the Cancer Institute have helped spread the news of the outstanding care received right here in Orlando.
Bill applies many of the skills he acquired while working at his third-generation family-run business, to be an ambassador for the Cancer Institute. He focuses on sharing the story of AdventHealth and the amazing care it offers to patients. Whether it is opening his home for a meet and greet lecture or supporting one of the many AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida events, Bill is always willing to lend a hand. And, like the work at his company, he finds this work to be very rewarding.
Bill says, "I've always wondered, 'will there ever be a ‘cure for cancer?' It has been very rewarding to hear first-hand from AdventHealth doctors as they talk about the incredible progress that has and is being made toward that ultimate dream – all from right here in Central Florida!”
We are honored to have Bill Finfrock serve as Chair of the AdventHealth Cancer Institute Foundation Board and congratulate him on being awarded Volunteer of the Month for August.
