DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 23, 2017 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has named Steve Gotshall to serve as assistant vice president of finance.
In this role, Gotshall will work with the hospitals chief financial officer, Jermaine Bucknor, to oversee the operations of finance and accounting.
Gotshall has nine years of healthcare finance experience. He began his career at Florida Hospital Orlando as a financial analyst and spent three years working in several financial areas. He then transitioned to Adventist Health System as a strategic information finance manager and spent two years working on special projects. He then became the budget and decision support finance manager where he coordinated the annual budget process and directed the Adventist Health System finance summer internship program. Most recently, he served as director of financial operations at Adventist Health System and was responsible for leading the budget process and a labor benchmarking project.
An Orlando resident, Gotshall received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Adventist University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
