- AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida
Tony and Sonja Nicholson were awarded the Kenneth F. Murrah, Esq. Award for Outstanding Philanthropists for their investment in the community and for their encouragement of others to do the same. The couple has made a lasting impact in Central Florida. Some of their most notable support has gone to UCF for the Nicholson School of Communication and the Nicholson Fieldhouse; to AdventHealth’s Nicholson Center, a physician training center, and to the Nicholson Pavilion expansion at AdventHealth Winter Park.
In addition to their financial contributions, Tony and Sonja each give generously of their time to a variety of organizations through board and committee service. Together they serve as co-chairs of the AdventHealth Winter Park Foundation Board.
The Bible speaks of giving honor to whom it is due, and it is truly an honor to have Alan Ginsburg and Tony and Sonja Nicholson not only as donors, but as friends of AdventHealth Foundation. It is a blessing to be in a community with individuals of such character, compassion and integrity. Alan, Tony and Sonja, we can’t express in words alone what you’ve done for Central Florida. Deuteronomy 15:10-11 says “give generously to them… because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.” Thank you!
