AdventHealth Murray is proud to announce that Julie Goins, RN, current medical-surgical unit nurse manager, has accepted the position of director of nursing.
This new role will serve as an onsite clinical leader for AdventHealth Murray. Goins will be responsible for clinical functions and direct oversight of the medical-surgical unit, emergency department, house supervisors and respiratory therapy unit.
“I am confident that under Julie’s expanded leadership, AdventHealth Murray will continue to grow and shine in our community and be a top performer in AdventHealth,” said Brendan Nieto, administrator of AdventHealth Murray. “We are excited to see her grow in this new role.”
Goins has been part of the AdventHealth Murray team for over seven years. She completed her Master of Science in nursing leadership from the University of West Georgia and has worked as a registered nurse in Northwest Georgia for eighteen years.
“I am blessed to have the opportunity to work where everyone shares the same vision, works together and is committed to the mission of the hospital,” said Goins. “I believe I am in the right place, and this is the right time to make a positive impact in all the lives we touch. I am proud to be part of the leadership team at AdventHealth Murray.”
