The clinical informatics team of Gordon Hospital and Murray Medical Center attended the Adventist Health System (AHS) Informatics Summit in November.
Each year, the clinical informatics teams from all AHS hospitals and Adventist Information Technology (AIT) employees compete in a poster presentation of a relevant informatics health care topic about an initiative or project that they have worked on with their facilities. Each team gives a presentation on their topic, and the conference attendees vote on the posters. The Gordon Hospital and Murray Medical Center clinical informatics team won the "Best Overall" award for the second year in a row.
To receive this prestigious award for the second year in a row is an honor for our team, said Justina Carrick, director of clinical informatics. As a team, we are extremely proud to represent Gordon Hospital and Murray Medical Center.
