AdventHealth Murray has once again been accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for the hospital’s mammography imaging services.
ACR accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging. With this accreditation, AdventHealth Murray is demonstrating to patients that the hospital is committed to providing safe and quality mammography care. It also documents that AdventHealth Murray meets all requirements for mammography equipment, medical personnel and quality assurance.
“We are proud to continue to be accredited by the American College of Radiology,” said David Hyatt, radiology manager at AdventHealth Murray. “This wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of everyone on our imaging services team. It’s our passion to provide quality care to our community.”
The ACR is a national professional organization serving more than 36,000 diagnostic/interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
