DELAND, Fla., June 25, 2019 – AdventHealth DeLand has selected Tracey Mastrapa to serve as the organizational development and culture director.
In this new role, Mastrapa will work closely with human resources, patient experience, administration and other key departments to continually enrich the culture of AdventHealth. She will be responsible for enhancing employee growth and development opportunities with a focus on leadership.
Mastrapa has more than 20 years of experience in people development at AdventHealth. She most recently served as manager for AdventHealth’s physician enterprise communication and operations in the Orlando area. In this role, she supported the physician enterprise in the areas of corporate communications, training development and special projects, as well as enhanced physician engagement strategies, leadership orientation and change management initiatives for physician groups.
An Apopka resident, she earned a Bachelor of Arts is in education and psychology from Southern Adventist University and completed a Master of Education from the University of Central Florida.
Mastrapa is a volunteer with Mission 517, a nonprofit that has traveled to the Guanacaste Region in Costa Rica since 1999. The organization has helped 26 schools in the public elementary school system and provides medical clinics. Through her volunteer work, Mastrapa helped develop curriculum, lead groups and teach during multiple mission trips to Costa Rica. Locally, she is very involved in her church and volunteers with several organizations, including American Diabetes Association, Hands on Orlando and Bags of Blessings.
