Yasmin Wells, PA-C

Yasmin Wells, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) from Shenandoah University, where her research focused on the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and the role of insulin-like growth factor. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida.

Yasmin brings clinical experience across primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, and specialties including gastroenterology, endocrinology, and women’s health. She is also training in functional medicine and functional nutrition to expand her approach to metabolic disease management.

Certified by the NCCPA with current BLS certification, Yasmin is known for her patient-centered care and dedication to health equity. She was awarded the Hamilton-Carter Scholarship at Duke and served as Diversity & Inclusion Chair during her PA program, reflecting her commitment to inclusive, empowering care.
