Yanelis Leyva, APRN

Yanelis Leyva, APRN, is an experienced advanced practice registered nurse caring for patients 13 and older. As part of her practice, she performs annual exams, treats acute and chronic illnesses and cares for women’s and men’s health. Yanelis feels called to medicine because it allows her to use her expertise to care for the whole person — their physical, emotional and social well-being — and work with them to improve their quality of life. Serving others in this way is an honor and a calling for Yanelis. She wants her patients to know that their voice matters. She is committed to taking the time to listen, understand their concerns and make sure they feel comfortable and supported during every visit. Yanelis earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Health and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida International University in Miami. She holds various licenses, including Basic Life Support, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
