Biography

Wayne Richey, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician serving children and adults of all ages in our Northwest Georgia community. Dr. Richey has a wealth of experience in urgent care, hospice care and family medicine, with dedicated expertise in treating diabetes, acid reflux and asthma.

Dr. Richey earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his family medicine internship and residency training at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Delivering personalized care is Dr. Richey’s focus, and he is committed to using his God-given talents and abilities to help each patient heal in body, mind and spirit.

When not working Dr. Richey enjoys farming, homesteading, camping and hiking.
