Toufeeq Suliman, MD

Toufeeq Suliman, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in colon and rectal surgery. He cares for patients of all ages and is fluent in English and Afrikaans. Dr. Suliman felt called to general surgery because it allows him to address a broad spectrum of medical conditions and provide comprehensive care. He further built on his extensive training by specializing in colorectal surgery, where he treats both minor and complex conditions. Dr. Suliman earned his medical degree from Avalon University. He completed his general surgery residency at Marshall University School of Medicine and a colorectal surgery fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, a member of several professional organizations, holds various certifications, and has authored numerous publications.

In his free time, Dr. Suliman is an automotive enthusiast who enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
