Shelbi Nolan, FNP-C

Shelbi Nolan, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in rural health family medicine. Shelbi is committed to each patient’s wellness with a deep passion to help them live more abundant physical, mental and spiritual lives. Growing up in Southeast Kentucky, Shelbi felt called to medicine through her many years spent in a rural health care community. She knew she wanted to continue her passion to practice in rural settings so she can care for underserved populations. From newborns to seniors, Shelbi provides compassionate, whole-person care to patients of all ages and life stages.

Shelbi earned her master’s degree in nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. With special training in rural family health, adult patients and incision and drainage, she also helps patients manage acute and chronic illnesses, provides women’s wellness exams and performs physicals for general wellness, school, sports and employment and more.

Along with providing world-class care to every patient, Shelbi enjoys spending her free time with her family — her husband, their two children and two golden retrievers. She also loves to travel, shop and hike. Active in her church community, it’s important to Shelbi to grow her relationship with Jesus Christ as she continuously extends the healing ministry of Christ through her practice.

Shelbi Nolan, FNP-C, approaches her care for others with a servant’s heart and desires to make a positive impact on her patients’ lives. She is dedicated to engaging her patients in decision-making to promote better individual health outcomes. Shelbi supports every patient’s wholeness in body, mind and spirit and is committed to helping them live life to the fullest.
