Shanice Forbes, DMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a doctorate in medical science who provides primary care for ages 5 and up. As part of her practice, she performs annual wellness exams, manages chronic diseases and conducts school and sports physicals.
Shanice earned her Doctor of Medical Science degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and her Master of Physician Assistant Medicine degree from the University of Tampa. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a United States Air Force veteran of 13 years. Shanice is licensed and certified in basic life support and pediatric advanced life support.Shanice has called Clermont home since 2001. After serving in the military and furthering her education, she felt a pull to return to her roots. Coming back to Clermont has been especially meaningful, as it allows her to give back to the community that has always felt like family. - Personal Interests

Outside of her professional life, Shanice enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their daughter. Together, they love beach outings, family gatherings, and trips to local water parks. Shanice also finds joy in gardening, relaxing by the pool, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. She gives back to her community as a Sunday school teacher for children, which she finds deeply rewarding.
