Rene A. Garcia, PMHNP-BC

Rene A. Garcia, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with more than 11 years of experience in nursing and mental health care. He recently completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and holds a Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University in Los Angeles. Most recently, Rene was a psychiatric nurse practitioner fellow at Baptist Health Systems Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, Florida, where he provided care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings. Rene began his career as a patient relations nurse and clinic manager at The Palace Coral Gables. Garcia is a certified veteran and military mental health provider and is fluent in English and Spanish.
