Merlyn Varona, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who cares for patients ages 6 and up. She provides annual exams, treatment for acute and chronic conditions and cares for men’s and women’s health. Merlyn felt called to family medicine to care for people and provide education on how to care for oneself, while still embracing what makes each person their true self. She is dedicated to being fully present for her patients and actively listening to their needs and concerns. Merlyn earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies from South University in Orlando, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds various licenses, including Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
