Kailash Pant, MD

Kailash Pant, MD, is an interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary artery disease, valvular disease, peripheral vascular disease, and mechanical circulatory support. He completed his internal medicine residency at Carle Illinois College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident and honored as Resident Physician of the Year by the American College of Physicians. Dr. Pant then pursued a cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine–Peoria and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts–Baystate. He has published extensively on coronary revascularization, transcatheter valve therapies, and complex interventions. Recipient of the Young Scientist Award, he is committed to mentoring future cardiologists, advancing patient-centered care, and expanding access in underserved communities.
