James McFadden, MD

James McFadden, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, orthopedic trauma surgeon. After earning his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. McFadden completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the University of Florida College of Medicine. A highly-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. McFadden specializes in orthopedic traumatology, arthroscopic knee surgery, fractures, knee, shoulder and hip replacements, and revision surgery.

Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my family, at home and at the beach. My wife and I love to exercise, and all of us like the outdoors. I enjoy the piano and music. I love to travel.

I try to treat each patient with dignity, care, and respect. I imagine how I would like my wife and children treated, and I try to bring that sensibility to all of my patients. We are all children of God, and we all have a unique story to share. It is my privilege to be allowed into the lives of my patients, to form a team for better musculoskeletal health.
