Emaleigh Sams, PA-C, is a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant specializing in General Surgery at AdventHealth. With a strong commitment to providing exceptional care, Emaleigh treats her patients as if they were her own family members, ensuring a personalized and empathetic approach to healthcare.

Born and raised in Manchester, KY, Emaleigh has deep roots in her community. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University, earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Cumberlands, and she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

She has experience in various healthcare settings, including Horizon Adult Healthcare, Baptist Health Corbin, and AdventHealth Primary Care Clinic. Emaleigh has honed her skills in pre-op and post-op procedures, abdominal and GI workups, and minor office procedures.

Outside of her clinical practice, Emaleigh enjoys hunting, spending time outdoors with her husband, reading, and listening to true crime podcasts. She is also a proud owner of a Goldendoodle named Colt and cherishes her time with her niece.
