AdventHealth for Children Head and Neck Tumor Clinic
Offering a rare combination of pediatric craniofacial surgery with oncology training, Joseph Lopez, MD, chief of pediatric head and neck surgery at AdventHealth for Children, is passionate about providing children with craniofacial conditions and head and neck tumors the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Dr. Lopez is leading AdventHealth for Children’s new clinic, which will help expand access to treatment for the 4,000 kids diagnosed with head and neck tumors every year. Because he grew up with parents who didn’t speak English, Dr. Lopez shares that being able to provide culturally competent care is also of great importance to him.
In the video, 14-year-old Zoe Rodriguez shares her story.
