Freytag Health Plaza Topping Out Celebration
Before being installed in the Freytag Medical Plaza at AdventHealth Palm Coast today, team members signed final construction beam and wrote celebratory messages to mark the topping out of this two-story structure.
Named in tribute to local residents Peter and Sue Freytag, this 30,000-square-foot facility is set to open in early 2025 and will become a pivotal center for primary care and cancer treatment services, including radiation and medical oncology. Also, the Judith C. Macko Cancer Resource Center, currently part of the hospital, will find a new home within the Plaza, offering free resources to patients and their families.
“This new facility is a testament to our $30 million investment into a blossoming community around us,” said Denyse Bales-Chubb, President and CEO for AdventHealth Palm Coast and the Flagler and St. Johns market. “For the first time in nearly 70 years, Florida was named the fastest-growing state by the U.S. Census Bureau, and that’s something we are experiencing in Flagler County too. The good news is, as an organization, AdventHealth has invested in significant expansion plans across our entire system, and locally, we are committed to continuously growing with our community to create new ways to access medical care.”
The architect for the Freytag Medical Plaza is Orlando-based HuntonBrady and the contractor is Robins & Morton, also from the Orlando area.
