Robin Green, RN, has been named AdventHealth Murray’s latest DAISY Award recipient. This award is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human tasks nurses perform every day.
Green, med/surg nurse manager at AdventHealth Murray, was nominated by a coworker with the following words: “Robin Green routinely exemplifies the mission and values of AdventHealth Murray through her compassion, contagious laugh, sense of humor, forgiving spirit and her tireless effort and commitment to support her team in their success.
Time and again, I have witnessed Robin go above and beyond to ensure shifts are covered, that her team feels supported and that no one faces their challenges alone. She demonstrates professionalism in the work environment and is cool and collected under pressure. She is an exceptional nurse and an excellent educator for her team, coaching her staff when they have questions and sharing past experiences as pivotal opportunities for learning. She consistently models empathy and demonstrates a caring attitude in all situations.”
