AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce that Rachel Stonecypher, PA-C, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Rome.
Stonecypher joins an extensive care team at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Rome, which offers a wide range of medical services for its patients. The clinicians provide comprehensive services that help patients with conditions that affect the heart.
Stonecypher works collaboratively with you and a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the desired treatment goals with care and compassion. “Working in cardiology has been a goal of mine since being a cardiology patient as a child,” said Stonecypher. “I’m very excited to be moving back to Rome and giving back to my community.”
She completed her undergraduate degree in biology from Shorter University in Rome then went on to earn a Master of Health Science degree in physician assistant studies at South College in Atlanta. Stonecypher is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of caring for her patients, she enjoys watching sports and movies, spending time with family, friends and her dog, Millie.
