AdventHealth Redmond recently had the privilege of participating in the 2024 Polk Career Connect, a workforce initiative created through collaboration between Polk School District, Polk County Chamber of Commerce, Development Authority of Polk County, and Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
Team members engaged with 16 talented high school graduates from Cedartown and Rockmart High School, sharing insights about AdventHealth's culture, career opportunities and the diverse roles within health care. Our team included Jennifer Glass (recruiter specialist), Corinthia Maynor (Med/Surg manager), Marty Robinson (EMS director), Felix Monterrosa (environmental services director), Tammy Jarrell (manager of Cedartown's family/internal medicine clinic), and Carolyn Perry (lead rehab therapist). They led inspiring discussions and tours, giving students a firsthand look at the health care field.
AdventHealth Redmond is proud to announce that one of the students accepted a position in the Primary Care Network. AdventHealth Redmond is committed to nurturing future healthcare professionals and is excited for their journey ahead.
