Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Samir Guru has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Waterman.
Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of more than 160 primary care physicians and specialists for the Florida Hospitals in Lake, Flagler, and Volusia counties.
Guru has served the Lake County community for more than 15 years and provides complete orthopedic care for patients ages 12 and up.
At the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and completed an orthopedic internship and residency.
Guru is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
In his new practice at Florida Hospital Waterman, Guru will perform traditional, minimally invasive and robotic joint replacement. In addition to joint replacement, his services will also address sports medicine, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, fracture care and hand surgery.
His office is located inside the medical office building on the campus of Florida Hospital Waterman at 3150 Waterman Way, Tavares. His practice accepts most insurance plans and can be reached at Call352-453-0312.
