Gordon Hospital, a member of Adventist Health System, is pleased to announce that current employee Wes Fetner will now serve as director of patient experience and operational excellence.
As Lynda McCoy, former director of patient experience, enters retirement, Fetner is transitioning into his new role and will continue to uphold the organizations patient experience standards. In addition to patient experience, Fetner will also continue to be responsible for operational experience. Joining these two areas together makes for a natural union as the processes for both are so closely related.
Wes has been an integral part of our organization as a bedside nurse, charge nurse, house supervisor, and operational experience manager, said Amy Jordon, chief nursing officer of Gordon Hospital. We are so excited to see him grow in this new role.
"I have always admired our organization for our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ and the heart that so many of our employees have in serving our community, said Fetner. I am excited to see what is ahead for us."
resides in Calhoun with his wife, Nicole, and his children Hadessah, Wyatt, and a baby girl on the way. He enjoys woodworking, hunting, Georgia bulldog football, spending time with family, and discovering God every day.
