Amanda Wargo has been awarded Gordon Hospitals prestigious Extra Mile Award. Wargo is a polysomnographic technologist in Gordon Hospitals Sleep Center.
This special award was created by members of the hospitals Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospitals directors.
Wargo, who has been employed by Gordon Hospital for two years, said, I am very honored and excited to receive this award.
Amanda is a good communicator with her colleagues, and she truly puts forth every effort to make our patients have a positive experience, said Tracy Farriba, director of sleep center at Gordon Hospital. She is very knowledgeable when explaining sleep issues and the processes for diagnosis to patients.
I love helping people improve their quality of life, said Wargo.
Wargo has four children and enjoys spending time with her family.
