Florida Hospital Waterman is kicking off Mens Health Month at the June Classic Car Show and Doctor Meet and Greet on Wednesday, June 7th from 5-7pm at Hwy 441 Diner in Tavares located at 381 E. Burleigh Blvd. The public is invited to this free event and encouraged to bring their classic cars of any make and model and enjoy the show! In addition to the show, there will be an opportunity to meet local physicians and win door prizes and giveaways.
June is National Men's Health Month, and the goal is to educate men, boys, and those who love them about preventable health problems and to encourage them to get more actively involved in their own health care. Early detection and treatment save lives. Mens Health Week will be celebrated June 12 - 16 with Friday the 16th being National Wear Blue day to raise awareness.
