PALM COAST, Fla., July 19, 2016 Florida Hospital Flagler has received two 2016 Aster Awards, a gold and a silver, for two different marketing and advertising campaigns.
Hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc., the Aster Awards competition is one of the largest of its kind. The program is an elite national competition, dedicated to recognizing the country's most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising.
The creativity of this years participating healthcare marketing professionals went above and beyond the standards that were set by previous years, said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards program coordinator. The 2016 Aster Awards program contained some of the best and most creative advertising in the world.
Florida Hospital HospiceCare and Florida Hospital Home Health;s November 2015 campaign, entitled Making a Daily Difference, received the Gold Aster Award, ranking the campaign within the top five percent in the nation for marketing efforts. The campaign took place during National Home Health and Hospice Month and shared a daily story to show the difference that home health and hospice employees make in the lives of patients and families.
The Florida Hospital Flagler Ice/Heat Pack campaign received the Silver Aster Award within the category of advertising specialty. Silver awards are given to programs whose marketing effort is in the top 12 percent in the nation.
Florida Hospital Flagler was chosen from among nearly 3,000 entries from across the United States. Industry experts judge the criteria and score on a 100-point scale, measuring creativity, layout and design, functionality, message, quality and appeal. All programs that received awards fall within the top 16 percent in the nation.
