ORANGE CITY, Fla., June 20, 2017 The community is invited to join Florida Hospital Fish Memorial on July 11 from 5 pm to 8 pmfor a grand opening celebration for the Florida Hospital Centra Care urgent care facility.
During this free Summer Beach Bash event, attendees will receive tours of the new 5,000 sq. ft. facility, located at 1360 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, directly adjacent to the I-4 overpass into Deltona. In addition, guests will enjoy rides on an inflatable tropical water slide and mechanical shark, as well as face painting, a stilt walker, snow cones, games and more. Families can also learn steps to protect little ones this summer with CPR and water-safety instruction.
Florida Hospital Centra Care is the areas only hospital-affiliated urgent care provider with both adult and pediatric-trained physicians available for families seven days a week.
Since beginning construction in January, we've been looking forward to this celebration, as families in our area truly need a fast and convenient option for urgent care, said Rob Deininger, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial CEO. Florida Hospital Centra Care provides excellent care and Deltona, DeBary and Orange City residents now have two great options to be treated by Florida's premier urgent care provider with DeLand and now Orange City.
Officially open to patients for care beginning July 5, this facility is the 36th Florida Hospital Centra Care in Florida and the second in western Volusia County. In November 2016, a Florida Hospital Centra Care opened in DeLand.
Florida Hospital Centra Care offers on-site labs, and other immediate healthcare services such as X-rays, EKG, stitches, physicals, blood pressure testing, immunizations, and more.
By expanding our network of urgent care centers to Orange City, we will be able to help meet the demand for convenient access to healthcare said Dr. Scott Brady, Florida Hospital Centra Care president and senior medical director. Our newest facility will provide care to even more of the Volusia County community, with easy access to quality urgent care services, seven days a week.
Because time is valuable, Florida Hospital Centra Care offers an online reservations system, to schedule to see a doctor when it's convenient. Knowing that injuries and illnesses can happen at the most unexpected moments, walk-ins are always welcome.
Employers and employees can also take advantage of the wide variety of occupational medicine offered by Florida Hospital Centra Care, which includes pre-employment and workers compensations services, such as work injuries, employee physicals, and drug and alcohol testing for public and private employers of all sizes.
