Florida Hospital Donates Toys to United Methodist Children's Home

ORANGE CITY, Fla., December 5, 2017 On Nov. 30, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial delivered Christmas gifts to the Florida United Methodist Childrens Home in Deltona.

The gifts will help make a merry Christmas for all of the children in our care, said Mark Cobia, Florida United Methodist Childrens Home director of marketing and communications. We care for nearly 500 children in residence at our Enterprise campus and at our Madison Youth Ranch in north Florida, as well as all of the children in our foster care homes in Volusia, Flagler, Hillsborough, and Broward counties.

The Florida United Methodist Childrens Home was established in Enterprise, Fla., in 1908 as the Florida Methodist Orphanage. It is now a diverse ministry that includes residential care, therapeutic group care, foster care, emergency shelter care, independent living assistance, and community child care center.
