AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce that Dana Stewart, NP-C, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine at Timms Road.
Stewart joins the care team at AdventHealth Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine at Timms Road where the care team provides comprehensive services and solutions that help you stay happy and healthy.
Stewart is committed to offering both traditional and holistic options to achieve the best possible outcomes and honor your body, mind and spirit. “Helping people manage and improve their health by Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ is one of the best opportunities to make a positive impact in my community,” Stewart said. “I am certain that faith matters in the health care process, and I am certain that God and prayer are paramount to the practice of medicine.”
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Stewart then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she completed a residency in pediatric, family and internal medicine. She is also certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
When not working, Stewart enjoys investing in younger generations. She is involved with local schools and teaches online nursing classes. She and her husband also minister in their church’s Sunday school.
