ORMOND BEACH, Fla., January 16, 2018 Construction is underway for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Centers first freestanding urgent care facility in Ormond Beach.
The new 5,200 sq. ft. facility, located at 1245 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, will be a Florida Hospital Centra Care urgent care facility and is expected to open in May.
This additional Florida Hospital Centra Care facility will offer the community another access point to high quality care, said Ed Noseworthy, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center CEO. We already have a strong relationship with Florida Hospital Centra Care and have seen firsthand the excellent service and care they provide patients at our locations in Daytona Beach and Port Orange. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to expand our services again and offer this new access point for patients in Ormond Beach.
Open seven days a week with extended hours, board certified adult and pediatric-trained doctors will care for families at this new location.
Florida Hospital Centra Care offers on-site labs and other immediate healthcare services such as X-rays, EKG, stitches, physicals, blood pressure testing, immunizations, and more.
This facility is the 37th Florida Hospital Centra Care in Florida and the fifth in Volusia County. Other Florida Hospital Centra Care locations include Daytona Beach, DeLand, Orange City, and Port Orange.
