Adventist Care Centers (ACC) in Florida, Texas and Kansas deployed iSynergy, Adventist Health System's enterprise resource planning initiative, on April 1. The implementation included human resources, finance and supply chain components, and will now allow the resource office and the 10 ACC facility locations in these three states to achieve better interoperability with the hospital facilities that are geographically close to them. As skilled nursing facilities, components of the standard implementation were tailored to fit the specific needs of ACC team members and functional areas, equipping them with enhanced tools and resources.
'The new technology platform, self-service capabilities and centralized expert support allow our care centers to align with AHS facilities and hospitals systemwide. In addition to the increased efficiency, our team members are even more empowered and better able to work on more strategic tasks that translate to providing exceptional care for our residents,' said Meta Johnson, regional CIO.
Today, more than 28,000 employees at Adventist Health System entities have implemented iSynergy and are being served by shared services teams. The iSynergy initiative is expected to be deployed systemwide by the end of 2019.
