AdventHealth Redmond was honored to join in this year’s Health Initiative for Men and Women, hosted and organized by the 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia, Inc. and the Northwest Georgia Cancer Coalition. Their team provided blood pressure screening with hypertension and stroke education, PSA lab draws, lung health and cancer education, women’s health education, cholesterol/glucose finger sticks, hands-on CPR information, primary care and network information, and grip strength assessments, and outpatient rehab services education.
Over 275 people received health screenings, food, education and counseling from the dedicated community partners through this annual initiative. AdventHealth Redmond's goal is to help the community feel whole, inside and out. Thank you to AdventHealth Redmond's team organizers and leaders for helping make this effort a success!
