This week, AdventHealth Redmond announced construction on a 40,000 square-foot medical office building that will be home to the AdventHealth Redmond Heart and Vascular Institute. Site preparation has already begun, and construction will continue through March 2026.
“The AdventHealth Redmond Heart and Vascular Institute will enable us to care for the increasing number of people across our region who need access to quality care,” said Isaac Sendros, president and CEO of AdventHealth Redmond. “And it will further our legacy as the region’s heart care leader.”
The new AdventHealth Redmond Heart and Vascular Institute will offer personalized coordinated care and will solidify AdventHealth’s continued investment in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama.
“Now more than ever, it is critical for our community to know they have a choice for their health care services,” said Sendros, “and it’s our honor to continue to provide an outstanding experience for the people who choose us.”
The AdventHealth Redmond Heart and Vascular Institute will include:
- AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Rome
- Structural Heart
- Electrophysiology/Device Clinic
- AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiothoracic Surgery at Rome
- Advanced Heart Care clinic
- Cardiac Rehab
- Outpatient Cardiac Testing
- Lab Services
- Provider Office Space
The institute will be located on the west side of the hospital campus along Redmond Road.
Currently, AdventHealth offers the broadest-reaching health care network in Northwest Georgia, providing services across 10 counties. AdventHealth also provides services at AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun and AdventHealth Murray in Chatsworth, as well as more than 40 physician practices and outpatient locations across the region.
