AdventHealth is one of only 15 health systems in the U.S. to be recognized by Healthiest Employers as one of the 2023 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America.
The awards program recognizes “people-first organizations taking a more proactive approach to employee health” and annually assesses eligible organizations in six categories, referred to as “pillars of wellness”: culture and leadership commitment; foundation components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analytics.
To determine the best in workplace wellness, Healthiest Employers states that its methodology takes a “holistic view of worksite health,” including identifying how organizations are proactively supporting well-being. Focusing on team members’ health and well-being has long been a top priority for AdventHealth. Based on team member feedback, recent enhancements to team members’ benefits and experience included, among other things, debt-free educational assistance, career paths, financial wellness tools and personalized mental health support.
A broad range of organizations, varying in size from 27 to 313,000 employees, is represented on the 2023 list. AdventHealth, with more than 90,000 team members, has appeared on the list multiple times, including in 2022.
