DAVENPORT, Fla. -- AdventHealth Heart of Florida in Davenport is thrilled to celebrate the arrival of its first baby born at the hospital in 2025. Baby Nova made her debut just minutes after the New Year started at 12:09 am. She measured in at 20 inches long and weighed in at seven pounds, five ounces. Nova and her family are doing well as they celebrate this wonderful occasion.
“Nova’s arrival, just minutes after midnight, is such an incredible blessing for her family and our care team,” said Dr. Jose Fernandez Duarte, chief medical officer of AdventHealth Heart of Florida. “We are honored to provide care during such a joyous time. It’s a fantastic way to start the year.”
