We know that patient experience is about much more than providing expert medical services, which is why we’re always looking for ways to take our patients’ whole care experience to the next level. Our team members serve as partners in your care journey through every stage of life and health.
Rebeca Torres and Kimberly Pullen, LPN, were named Employees of the Year for AdventHealth Dade City and AdventHealth Zephyrhills, respectively. They received the honor at the hospitals’ annual employee appreciation banquet on Tuesday, June 11.
Torres, a financial specialist with AdventHealth Dade City, has worked at the hospital for seven years. She loves going to work each day, so she can help patients navigate the check-in process. She also cares deeply about AdventHealth’s mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
“I love that AdventHealth Dade City is a faith-based organization,” said Torres. “I love that I can pray with my patients and bring them comfort.”
Pullen has been the case management coordinator for AdventHealth Zephyrhills for four years. She assists case managers at both hospitals, and helps patients work through complex social and medical situations to ensure that patients can be safely discharged to the next level of care.
“I love AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City because of the people I work with every day,” said Pullen. “All of the staff work together to care not only for our patients, but their families and friends throughout their health care journey.”
Collectively, AdventHealth Dade City and AdventHealth Zephyrhills employ more than 1,300 individuals.
