On Jan. 25, J. Michael Ware, MD, FACC, a board-certified interventional cardiologist at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Rome, served as the Georgia State Senate Doctor of the Day.
Organized by the Medical Association of Georgia, the role of the ‘Doctor of the Day’ includes providing free minor medical care for legislators and their staff. Dr. Ware was introduced in the House and Senate at the beginning of Thursday’s legislative day.
Dr. Ware, joined by Director of Business Development Scotty Hancock, spent the day at the capitol volunteering at the Medical Aid Station and meeting state representatives and staffers.
