Gordon Hospital, a member of Adventist Health System, is pleased to announce that Julia Danforth, MD, has joined Adairsville Primary Care.
Dr. Danforth has joined Rachel Turner, NP, at Adairsville Primary Care, where quality healthcare is provided for patients of all ages. Adairsville Primary Care is pleased to have Dr. Danforth join the clinics team of excellent healthcare professionals.
Specializing in lifestyle medicine, Dr. Danforth is now accepting patients. Lifestyle medicine is the evidence-based practice of helping individuals and families adopt and sustain healthy behaviors that affect health and quality of life; the use of lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, alcohol moderation, if not complete avoidance, and tobacco cessation, and other non-drug modalities, to prevent, treat, and, oftentimes, reverse the lifestyle-related, chronic disease that's all too prevalent. Dr. Danforth is a graduate of Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. She then attended Loma Linda University where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her family practice residency at Florida Hospital. Dr. Danforth is also board-certified in family practice.
