AdventHealth’s $30 May Mammogram Campaign brought in a total of 1,068 residents for mammograms within AdventHealth’s Georgia market, 329 of which were part of the 30 promotion. The others were covered by insurance.
The individual hospitals numbers are:
· AdventHealth Gordon did 655 mammograms, 234 of which were the $30 promotion.
· AdventHealth Murray did 125 mammograms, 24 of which were for the $30 promotion.
· AdventHealth Redmond did 288 mammograms, 71 of which were for the $30 promotion.
Annual mammograms are the top-recommended screening for women because it allows the earliest possible detection of issues before symptoms are experienced. Breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death in women, and one in eight women will receive a breast cancer diagnosis in her lifetime. Having an annual mammogram could be lifesaving.
AdventHealth will be conducting their annual Pink Porch Mammogram campaign again in October for breast cancer awareness. For more information on how to schedule a mammogram appointment, please visit GetYourMammoGA.com.
