Jonah White, MD

Jonah White, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. White specializes in robotic hernia surgery, including abdominal wall reconstruction, and has become Orlando’s preeminent hernia surgeon. In addition, he performs a broad variety of elective and emergent general surgical procedures, with an emphasis on robotic and laparoscopic techniques to improve patient recovery. Dr. White joined AdventHealth Apopka in 2020 and quickly began his award-winning practice. He served as surgical director and led the development of the campus’s Da Vinci robotic program. In 2024, he joined AdventHealth Winter Park and was brought on as a founding member to start AdventHealth’s regional flagship hernia program. Dr. White’s care philosophy is centered on evidence-based care with an emphasis on patient shared decision-making. He consistently ranks top among peers in patient satisfaction and outcomes and has won numerous accolades for patient experience.
