Dr. Roger Damle was born in New Brunswick, NJ and obtained his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine degrees from Northwestern University. He was inducted into the medical school honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated with “Highest Distinction” ranking #1 in his class. Dr. Damle then accepted an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School and returned to Northwestern to complete his Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology training. Dr. Damle was named “Chief Fellow in Cardiology” during his senior training year. Dr. Damle joined the faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1993 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He established the Electrophysiology Laboratory at AdventHealth Porter, where he continues to serve as a director. He joined South Denver Cardiology Associates in 1997 and has built an active cardiac Electrophysiology Program. Dr. Damle has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific articles, abstracts, and reviews, and has participated as principal investigator or co-investigator in 13 clinical trials.
