Lucia Notardonato, MD

Dr. Lucia Notardonato is a dedicated hematologist/oncologist known for her compassionate approach to patient care grounded in evidence-based medicine. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists, to develop coordinated treatment plans that reflect the latest evidence and best practices. Dr. Notardonato treats a wide range of cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, genitourinary cancers, gynecological cancers, chronic blood cancers, as well as benign hematological disorders such as anemia. She brings knowledge and clinical experience utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, allowing her to tailor care to each patient’s unique cancer profile and needs. Dr. Notardonato earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago and completed her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Notardonato enjoys hiking and exploring Colorado with her husband. She is an avid non-fiction reader, enjoys attending concerts and watching sports, especially Notre Dame football (Go Irish!).
