Kunal Panwar, DO

Dr. Kunal Panwar is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction: primary hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and complex revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Panwar prioritizes surgical recovery utilizing robotic technology and muscle sparing techniques such as the anterior hip replacement and the quadriceps sparing or “sub vastus” total knee replacement. Dr. Panwar also performs revision or "re-do" hip and knee replacement surgery. He has published in multiple peer reviewed journals, authored book chapters, and presented both domestically and internationally at orthopedic conferences. Dr. Panwar joins us from his hip and knee fellowship training at Albert Einstein University/Montefiore Medical Center, ranked top 1% in Orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report.
