Biography

Sarah Dhannoon, MD, is a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care physician whose medical journey began as a Migration Health Physician with the United Nations. After moving to the U.S., she completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Central Florida, receiving the Humanitarian Award. She then joined the University of Chicago as a clinician educator and Academic Hospitalist, earning Hospitalist of the Year twice. Dr. Dhannoon completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Tulane University, where she served as Chief Fellow and was named Fellow of the Year. Her clinical interests include asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung diseases. She is known for delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. Outside of work, she enjoys painting and traveling with her husband and children.
