Katelyn Buettner, LPC

Katelyn Buettner, LPC, is passionate about supporting individuals through life’s most challenging transitions. She specializes in perinatal mental health and trauma recovery, helping patients navigate complex emotional experiences with compassion and evidence-based care. Katelyn treats a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), trauma, grief, loss, and co-occurring disorders. She is certified in Perinatal Mental Health and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy designed to help process trauma. Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. She holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C). She is an active member of Postpartum Support International (PSI), the Colorado Counseling Association (CCA), and the Colorado Association of Addiction Counselors (CAAP).

Katelyn is a creative spirit who enjoys writing, watching movies, and playing video games. She finds joy in nature, whether hiking with her dogs, biking with her son and partner, or snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. She also practices yoga and meditation to stay grounded and present, embracing the beauty and gratitude in everyday life.

Katelyn believes that through connection, vulnerability, and trust, individuals can heal from past wounds and move toward peace and fulfillment. Katelyn creates a safe, inclusive space where every person is welcomed, valued, and respected. She works collaboratively with her patients to move towards peace, recovery, and fulfillment.
