Erin Shehata, FNP-BC

Erin Shehata, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with specialized training in infection prevention and control, emergency medicine, clinical data analytics, quality improvement, inpatient medicine, and pediatrics She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Master in Public Health from George Washington University School of Nursing and their Milken Institute. Erin’s clinical specialties include acute and critical care, chronic condition management, diagnostics, health screenings, immunizations and preventative medicine. She previously served as an APRN Hospitalist at AdventHealth Medical Group Daytona Beach. Outside of her clinical work, Erin is a global health advocate and spiritual ambassador who enjoys yoga, jogging, beach outings with her family, and participating in Spartan and Savage races across the country. Her goal is to treat every patient like they are family and give them the time, patience, and privacy they deserve.

I love the beach and to be outside, especially when I get to spend some time with my husband and son. Outside of work, you will usually find me running to a yoga class or headed out for a jog. Most recently my husband and I have begun participating in Spartan and Savage races, which take us all over the country and require daily training to prepare. We also enjoy volunteering at our church and have gone as far as Kenya to serve the underserved.

My goal is to treat every patient like they are family and give them the time, patience, and privacy they deserve. I believe a healthy diet, time with family, and outdoor activities do wonders for our health and will always advocate for ways that the body can do its own healing. However, there are times when we need to step in, and use evidenced based medicine to get the body back on track. In my world, there are no dumb questions, and everyone's opinion gets heard. We are one team with the same goal, to give babies the opportunity to grow up happy and healthy.
