Melinda C. Vazquez, APRN

Melinda C. Vazquez, APRN, is a board-certified, advanced practice registered nurse with a strong foundation in cardiovascular and internal medicine. She completed her nursing education at South University in Tampa, Florida and Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York, and is also a certified DOT examiner and DEA certified. Melinda brings more than a decade of experience in managing complex cardiac conditions, heart failure and chronic disease care. She has led outpatient clinics and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Her clinical interests include preventive cardiology, diabetes management and vascular health. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and outside of her clinical work, she is actively involved in nursing organizations, and enjoys mentoring fellow health care professionals and engaging in community health initiatives.
