Whitney Groth, NP

Whitney Groth, NP, began her nursing education at Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked at Parkland Hospital in Dallas in the cardiac intensive care unit for 6 years, then moved to Denver. Whitney began working in the trauma ICU at Denver Health, eventually moving to the emergency department. Her experience in the cardiac intensive care and then in the surgical and trauma intensive care and ED drove her desire to continue her education. Whitney earned a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado, and is board-certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She joined SDCA in the summer of 2000. Whitney has always loved the field of cardiology, and it’s ever-evolving therapies, procedures, and treatments, as well as the tried-and-true preventative arm, including diet and exercise.
